Excell Environmental Solutions appointed ITS UK & Ireland distributors
ITS Srl, Italy recently announced the appointment of Excell Environmental Solutions, size reduction specialists, of Aylesford, KENT as their UK & Ireland distributors.
Commenting on the news, Colin Irons, National Sales Manager, Excell Environmental Solutions said, “An innovative approach to granulation sets the ITS Granulator Series apart. An impressive designed -in machine robustness with a particular focus to increasing energy efficiency and reduction to maintenance downtime, quickly become self evident in this new generation ITS Granulator Series. A high performance solution, confidently cutting material down to size and other granulator competition”.
Innovative design to the cutting geometrics must be the key feature of this granulator. ITS design engineers can triumph in having developed what can only be described as a novel rotor configuration further demonstrating the depth to their industry knowledge and experience.
This approach employing a staggered multi blade rotor and such a simplistic approach to cutting edge geometry results in a very smooth running operation. Avoiding the continuous heavy working and high energy demand peaks prevalent in current granulators, therefore greatly increasing energy efficiency.
Efficiency and performance is further improved by the full cutting load being focussed on only a short section of the blade at any one time dramatically increasing the cutting torque.
Maintenance has also been taken into consideration at the design stage. The cutting geometry drives material into the centre of the grinding chamber, not the side walls as do traditional granulators. This extremely important feature eliminates side wall wear, thus avoiding expensive periodical servicing downtime. In short the ITS Granulator Series cuts down maintenance downtime.
The ITS product range covers beside-the-press single machines to complete custom turn-key installations with a power range from 22kW to 250kW, designed to process specific products into granules and powder.
When confronted with a capital purchase key elements such as; high performance, high efficiency, low maintenance, long service life and very competitive pricing are paramount. Little wonder then that the ITS Granulator Series are already attracting the attention of key industry users.
